As we reflect on the second "Fade to Black" Runway Show of the year and the third since its inception, I cannot help but express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the collaborative infinite effort that went into making this event a resounding success. From the dedicated designers and talented models to the hardworking production team, photographers, and enthusiastic audience members, we owe every bit of the show's glory to your unwavering support. It is through your collective efforts and shared commitment to excellence that participants were able to create an exquisite intersection of moving beauty, one that will remain etched in our memories for years to come.
The Transformative Power of Glory; The Graphic Tee!
What truly sets apart the beauty and simplicity of CHRISTCITIZEN's fall collection of white tees is the totality of the finished look at the end of the runway. The tee paired with a classic snapback bearing the prophetic mandate "WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST" (prophetic mandate @streamsofjoyedmonton), and a full fleece hoodie bearing the word "Sekina" (meaning dwelling glory of God in Hebrew) from my Pre-Fall 2023 drop. A simple wardrobe staple can evolve into something more glorious than its original version—a graphic statement of our powerful expression of faith in action. Envision elevation with the perfectly curated atmosphere of lights, staging, and "holy bangers" (Christian Hip Hop ☝🏽️) playing in the background while the MC announces the arrival of the kingdom of God. Models and photographers played their parts perfectly in a symphony of transformative glory.
The vision of white tees, particularly the lion graphic, was created over several years of deliberation. After high school, I sketched in pencil, and the image of Christ as a lion has forever remained etched in my spirit and soul. This season, it appeared again in response to prophetic words released earlier this year (read more) regarding the abundance of rain and the receiving of former and latter rains together. The spiritual key of PRAISE is used to unlock and access abundance in this season. The Lord is in a hurry to rain prayer answers and bless His people. Let the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH manifest wherever His name is whispered, proclaimed, and shouted. "Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in" {Psalm 24:7 KJV}.
